I love working with kids and helping them in whatever way that I can. As a tutor, I like to motivate my students and help them become confident in their abilities. I believe that repetition is one of the best ways to help students refine their understanding and retain information, so I have students do a lot of practice during our sessions. I also make it a priority to ensure that our sessions are interesting and fun. I believe that when students are having fun they are more likely to succeed in learning. When I start working with a new student, I build a rapport with them right away to get them comfortable in the learning environment. I want students to communicate openly and ask lots of questions so that I can adjust their needs effectively. I'm also very patient with my students, and I encourage them to be patient as well and make steady progress. I'm excited to have a positive effect on a new set of students. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities and movies.
